Regular communication between you, the homeowner, and Christine and Jeff at Kelly Contracting, as the general contractor, is crucial throughout the process. Here's a step-by-step guide for a typical remodeling or expansion project:
1. Define Your Goals
Outline your vision for the project, specifying goals, needs, and preferences for the remodel or expansion.
2. Budget Planning
Determine a realistic budget for the project, considering materials, labor, permits, and potential contingencies.
3. Research and Design
Collaborate with an architect to create detailed plans and layouts for the remodel or expansion - we can help with the design, too!
4. Select a Contractor
Research and interview potential general contractors, checking references and portfolios (view Kelly Contracting's here). If you agree to work with Kelly Contacting, you will sign a contract to move ahead.
5. Obtain Permits
Kelly Contracting, Inc. will secure necessary permits from local authorities before any work begins.
6. Project Kickoff

7. Regular Updates
